Senior Mechanical Engineer

Position Summary

Leads the design of mechanical and utility systems for industrial facilities. This role oversees engineering design, project execution, and technical leadership across multiple projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Design mechanical and utility systems (HVAC, piping, compressed air, water systems, etc.)
• Perform engineering calculations and system sizing
• Develop construction documents and technical specifications
• Lead project design efforts and coordinate across disciplines
• Review shop drawings, submittals, and RFIs
• Conduct site visits and support construction activities
• Mentor junior engineers and oversee design quality
• Ensure compliance with applicable codes and industry standards

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field
• 10–15+ years of engineering design experience
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required
• Strong knowledge of mechanical codes and standards

Additional Requirements

• Ability to travel as needed (~10%)
