Position Summary

Responsible for managing custom fabrication and manufacturing projects from concept through production. This role integrates design, estimating, and project execution while maintaining client relationships and ensuring project profitability.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop cost estimates and bid packages for fabrication projects
• Manage project scope, schedules, and budgets
• Coordinate design, engineering, and production activities
• Communicate with clients regarding progress and changes
• Analyze project costs and identify optimization opportunities
• Support development of manufacturing processes and standards
• Review specifications and develop customized design solutions
• Maintain documentation and project records
• Mentor junior staff and support team development

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field
• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing, fabrication, or design/estimating
• Experience with custom equipment or job-shop environments
• Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills
