Process Project Engineer

Position Summary

Responsible for supporting the execution of process engineering projects from concept through completion. This role focuses on coordination, documentation, and project delivery, working closely with internal teams, clients, and vendors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support development of process designs including PFDs, P&IDs, and equipment layouts
  • Coordinate with engineering disciplines (mechanical, electrical, controls)
  • Manage project documentation such as RFIs, submittals, and reports
  • Assist with procurement activities including bid packages and vendor evaluations
  • Track project schedules, deliverables, and budgets
  • Interface with clients and external partners to ensure project alignment
  • Participate in design reviews and project meetings
  • Provide support during installation, startup, and commissioning phases
  • Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and specifications

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, chemical, or related engineering field
  • 3–5+ years of experience in engineering project environments
  • Experience coordinating multidisciplinary projects preferred
  • Familiarity with project management tools and documentation processes
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
